HATHA

Hatha Yoga is a gentle introduction to the most basic yoga postures , working on integrating breath and movement, posture and calm , endurance and strength. “Breathe, find peace, find inner and outer strength…”

Hatha Yoga is ideal for both beginners and those needing to work physically but rather in stillness than speed.

It is less dynamic than Vinyasa or Ashtanga Yoga , but you go deeply into your posture ( Asana ), working on alignment and breath ending up leaving class feeling longer and stronger , at the same time looser, and more relaxed.

VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa Yoga just like Hatha Yoga means movement synchronized with breath , but compared to Hatha is a more vigorous and dynamique style based on a sometimes rather rapid flow through sun salutations and movement sequences .

The purpose of vinyasa yoga is to use the breath to align the body and mind. You'll develop a stronger mind-body connection and grow strength and flexibility.

Vinyasa Yoga uses breath and consciousness of one’s body to generate smooth flowing motion from pose to pose,

With your Vinyasa practice you will find yourself feeling calm, fit and regenerated as you progress .

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today.

Postures are held passively for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of connective tissue ( such as ligaments, bones and cartilage ) in the body, restoring the natural mobility of the joints. Energetically, Yin Yoga opens the body’s meridian system , enhancing the body’s energetic flow and supporting emotional equilibrium.

Yin Yoga emphasizes stillness and silence and prepares both the body and the mind for deeper relaxation but and meditation and is an excellent practice at the end of the day .
